xo batteries last 1 to 1,5 hours? so says the government

Postby bianodias » Thu Sep 11, 2008 4:21 pm

The brazilian government, represented by its congressmen, published a book explaining the one laptop per child experience ocurring in 5 test schools. The book says that the XO had this battery issue, and (opposite to what i read on post from OLPC and the "60 minutes" reportage) the classmate was more reliable on this point.
The book is available online, only in Portuguese.
I never tested a XO, im writing this on a Classmate PC. I'm eager to test the XO
Ill write more
Cheers

Our experience with six XO systems "on the ground" for two weeks in East Africa was a good one for battery endurance. The units remain there. We expect to get more with the upcoming G1 G1 in U.S.A.
