Simplified or Traditional Chinese?

Postby CharlieSummers » Mon Dec 24, 2007 8:13 pm

One of my clients purchased a GiveOneGetOne, and plans to send the one he received to a youngster in China. I didn't see Chinese listed as an available Keyboard Layout, but I thought I'd ask in the event the data was a bit out of date.

We don't have a chinese keyboard layout. There are some people working on a traditional one, however... you can post comments on the [[talk:keyboards]] page on the olpc wiki.

Hi, I am also interested in the Simplified and/or Traditional Chinese , is it possible to have these some how? What do we need to update in order to be able to read, write, send e-mail in Chinese using the XO?

Is it a question of changing browsers? Or installing Chinese fonts? What can we individually do to make Chinese display?

Thank you for your kind attention.
