Wireless Problem

Postby hermex » Mon May 31, 2010 6:25 pm

My wireless stopped working. I tried entering "test /wlan" and i receive the following message:

Testing /wlan
SDHCI: Error: ISR = 8000 ESR = 20 Data CRC
Stopping
Selftest failed due to abort

does anybody know why this happen? Thanks

Not sure since I haven't seen this error personally, but you may want to poke around here:
http://wiki.laptop.org/go/OLPC_Firmware_q2c20
and
http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Secure_Digital_card
and

Updating the firmware may help.

Try new firmware, that should fix any issues with the WLAN card.

There are anecdotal reports of correcting wireless problems by removing the power sources (AC and Battery) for a sort period (seconds) to reset the wireless. The wireless remains powered even though the XO is turned off.

Next, what version of software (and firmware) are you running ?
