internet-had it, then I lost it

Postby robberxo » Thu Jun 19, 2008 4:56 pm

when I first got our xo's, they found my airport express network with no problem. Then, last week, my ISP replaced our radio (wireless, Motorola, was 900MHz, now it's 2.4 MHz). Suddenly, the xo's don't see the express network in the neighborhood. What's happened? How to fix?

Hello? Anyone home?
Guess not. Well, all this time without a response encouraged me to solve it myself. I probably got lucky, but first I did this:

then I powered down the xo, unplugged my Airport Express from the wall, wait, then plug the Express back in and power up the xo. Found my network again. Always trying to find a Mesh, though. That's gotta drain battery, no?

Oh yeah, thanks!

Congratulations!

You had a problem and then you fixed it yourself. It is a great feeling isn't it. Be sure to read up on the wiki if you have other problems, because most of the common problems can be solved with a little research.
