If I turn off the WiFi in the Control Panel, I want it to _stay_ off even if my son reboots it. Presently the WiFi gets turned on every time the machine boots up (G1G1, latest software/firmware).
I don't want to turn it off from the CLI because we _do_ occasionally use it to install new activities, etc., and I don't want to have to remember some arcane text command in order to turn it back on. Unless I can alias the commands to something _really_ idiot-proof like "wifi on" and "wifi off" or something like that.
Besides controlling my 5-yr-old's internet access, I also am trying to prevent the XO from killing its battery when we put it to sleep. Whenever he sleeps it, the WiFi stays on and drains the battery.
