Does python aid in GUI programming???
Does XO have python with GTK ???

1) Access of data is simple if the USB device is HID class .If its an HID class ,
hexdump of the deVice file can get you the data send by the USB.DUMPING INTO file and then reading it for data processing doesnt seem a good idea for a programmer but OLPC is MAGIKAL... since it lacks partitions like primary/secondary memory , dis approach actually works out smoothly about 5 times more data read/write compared to a CORE2 DUO processor ! Can you believe dat ??
However shared memory approach is a standard way of doing... an i am currently researching on it..
Python Aids in GUI programming ......... Dats beyond doubt !
X0 support python 2.5_v in pippy. and it has GTK2.0 support

GOOD LUCK !
