I seem to have destroyed everything

Postby Hobnob » Mon Nov 23, 2009 9:57 am

After upgrading to the latest version and installing SugaredWine, I've managed to get to the stage where nothing will run at all. I got SugaredWine running twice, but since then no activities will load (including Terminal). The activity logo appears, flashes, then disappears and I get taken back to the Activities page. Now I'm getting the 'Your Journal is full' message as well, but I can't open my Journal.

It seems to be utterly snafu'ed. Is there any way to revert to the last working version or to the state it was when it arrived?

Thanks
Hob

Get back to the initial state by doing a clean install via a USB (thumb) flash drive.

Simple task if you have access to a PC or Mac on the internet. Once you have the images on a flash drive, you can quickly do a clean install again if you mess up the software again.
