Will I ever be able to play video content on G1G1?

Postby sapo » Sun Jan 10, 2010 2:17 pm

I've been trying to get my G1G1 to play youtube videos etc.
I downloaded a flash player but am not sure if I installed it correctly.
When I go to play a video a pop-up says something about default player
I click on that and it sends me to an Adobe site.
There a list of dozens of players come up for downloading purposes.
Listing Linux RPM, Yum etc etc.
Let me make this shorter. Can I or can't I get something into my G1
that will allow me to play videos from the net or should I give up and buy
a cheap notebook?
HELP PLEASE!!!
Thanks
sapo
