Home page in epiphany.

Postby easthope » Tue Sep 11, 2012 9:17 pm

Recently I installed system 12.1.0. No home page is evident in the Epiphany browser. Does this epiphany have a home page?

Thanks, ... Peter E.

This is an excerpt from the release notes.
... replacing Firefox with Epiphany. In addition to maintaining consistency between our two desktop environments, we believe this transition brings a faster and smoother browsing experience to the XO, ... Empathy (the IM client) now requires OpenGL which is not available on our platforms. It has been dropped from our software distribution as a result.

Well, I just had an epiphany! Empathy is gone while Epiphany is better than Firefox in some respects.

My question stands. Does this Epiphany have a home page which I've succeeded in overlooking?

Thanks, ... Peter E.

Does this epiphany have a home page?

The home page can be bookmarked and the name can be edited via the Bookmarks page. That serves almost the same as as a home page in another browser.
