From time to time you should update your system files to make sure they are up to date. This should help to fix some bugs and generally make your system more reliable and secure.

If you have Internet connectivity, here's what needs to be done:
 • Enter the terminal activity
Code: Select all
$
• Become the root superuser using the su - command
Code: Select all
$ su -
• Use yum with the "update" flag to update your system files
Code: Select all
# yum -y update
• Exit being superuser
Code: Select all
# exit
• Close the terminal activity
