Interesting concept but..

I don't want to throw stones as it is a good effort and it's a neat toy and tool but if the goal is to help educate children in the third world an OS execution that let's them interface with the rest of the world might be better. I run Linux on my home computers so it is not the Linux OS that I see as a problem but the "lite" execution of it and lack of multimedia support seems counter productive, I mean really, using the vi editor, that takes me back 20 years ago. Not to mention any teacher using this laptop will have to relearn his/her own computer skills and unlearn a few if they want to effectively show a kid how to use it.
