I was totally excited when my XO arrived in the mail! I opened it right away, plugged it in, connected to the internet, and emailed several of my friends. It worked beautifully. I'm sure kids everywhere are going to love it. Great job, everybody!

I agree! The laptop worked right out of the box and I was astounded that it had a built-in terminal program. I looked over the entire machine and it was truly a Linux based beast.

It was evident from the first look that this was some sophisticated computer with tons of software to make learning fun and easy.

Good job to all who had a hand in creating this educational tool!
