I recently retired after 25 years in computer support. Started with DEC then was merged into Compaq and finally merged into HP.
The OLPC project has interested me for a while, and being a techie at heart I had to get one.
I was first day donater, but still haven't seen the XO as of 12/18/07.:(

Welcome to the community! I started out on DEC in the mid 80s, and have moved into networking / Linux more recently.

I also donated to the G1G1 program and am still waiting. The G1G1 sub forum has some good discussion.

Look around and let us know if you have any suggestions on the community here.
