XO for a Church Mission

My Church runs a mission to Haiti every year and members also run a mission the Phillipines. Most of the members are older and skeptical of the OLPC's ability. Where can I get an OLPC or 2 to take on the mission. Everyone says Ebay but that can run up to 1000 dollars for 2. I really think that this would be a great benefit to the kids of the village we serve. If anyone has any Ideas I would appreciate it.

There is talk the Give 1 Get 1 program will re-open later this year. Also, I've heard prices far below $1000 quoted for Ebay, though I got mine through G1G1 so have not looked at Ebay myself.

You might also look at the OLPC wiki for user groups in your area (I mean in the US, not Haiti or the Philippines). Someone might be willing to do a demonstration for your group.
