There is a trend of three converging technologies which can be implemented in future versions of One Laptop Per Child machines. These are High Performance Computing via GPGPU processors and software discussed at http://gpgpu.org and the cell processor as used in the PlayStation 3 console, mobile broadband such as Wimax at
http://www.wimaxforum.org/ and automated invention software found at
http://www.imagination-engines.com and http://www.genetic-programming.org. Child and youth friendly interfaces can be developed, plus advanced games and educational and medical applications.for telemedicine, automated diagnosis and prescription, etc.
