XOS, Developing Countries, & H1N1

Hey guys,
Is there a problem with countries@laptop.org? I emailed them and it didn't go through, more than once. Appreciate if anyone with experience can shed light. Thanks!

I've read through all the material on what kind of a team is needed to deploy large numbers in a country. Assuming one had a strong political lead in the country, one would need at least the following info:

How long would it take to process an order of 50,000 laptops from the government? 100,000 laptops? For pickup at factor
The price I assume would remain $100/laptop. Correct?
Is there a maximum number of laptops that can be ordered in one time?
Is there a limit on the number of laptops to be ordered in total?

There is a particular need because of the H1N1 scare and the fact that many students in government schools, the poorest in the nation, have no way of receiving any learning. This is the perfect timing because the government feels a dire need and I really think with the right support we can do something really special.

Happy Holidays
aProf
