Midnight Commander configuration

Postby dancebert » Mon Aug 03, 2009 11:09 pm

I've been using Midnight Commander. The mode I use it in is the only one I knew about: Tree structure of folders and files in both panels. A few days ago I hit some unknown combo of key strokes and the left panel is now a tree structure of just the folders. When a folder is selected the the right panel shows the files in that directory. I can not figure out how to get back to the original configuration. Help!

I used brute force to solve the problem: I reinstalled the OS and Activities.

For future reference, in the OSs I've used, Mandrake and FreeBSD, there are F keys to drop down your selections menus and you should be able to change your mc view. Brute force works though. I'm new to the OLPCs and I'm getting ready to load the essentials, like mc, so I may be in for a surprise. IDK.
I'm still getting used to the absence of the "man" command for help :)
I'm currently configuring three xos, two for my nieces and one for myself.
