Power configuration on Update.2 for reading ebooks

I am using Update.2 (8.2-759) on my XO and I would like to better configure it for reading.

I am fairly confident with Linux, I use Ubuntu on my other laptops and machines, so digging in config files is OK.

How to shorten the interval for entering into shallow-suspend? I need this because 2-3 seconds of inactivity while reading is enough when reading (only the page turn has to be finished).

i'd be interested in some changes to the power management as well during reading. I understand, for example, why the screen dims (to save energy), but it is distracting while I read. I think it would be better to keep the screen at one brightness during the 'read' program...

I sent this query to the developer mailing list as well but no answer.

It is very likely configurable though OHM config files, I will try it if I have some free time.
