Operating the camera in Gnome.

Hi again,

"Take a photo ... by aiming the camera lens ... and then clicking the circle icon."

Where is the "circle icon"?

Is there software available in Gnome which will allow snapping a photo with the camera?

The "circle" icon is just below the active picture being seen by the camera (in Record Activity / Photo tab) -- click on it to take photo. Also, it is the game key (top one with "circle" on it) --- press it to take photo.

While using the VEHO microscope with the XO, I noticed that its camera was an option -- don't know if it was a real option. I was using Linux program Cheese. I don't have the setup anymore.

Finding the Record Activity was the difficulty. Using it to operate the camera is simple enough. Thanks.

Now I have some pictures and have used the right touch pad button to copy a few to the clipboard. How can a picture or file be copied from the clipboard to another computer? Is the clipboard accessible in the Gnome interface? ... Peter E,
